Sabine Scherer

Dr. Sabine Scherer is a paediatrician by training. She is employed at the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM), one of Germany’s National Competent Authorities, and has over 20 years of experience in regulatory medicine. She previously served as the German delegate to the Paediatric Committee (PDCO) of the European Medicines Agency and was elected Chair of the PDCO in 2025.
