Elisa Barbi

Researcher,
Meyer Children’s Hospital IRCCS

Elisa Barbi, a Biomedical Engineer by training, currently works as a researcher at Meyer Children’s Hospital IRCCS in Florence, Italy. Her primary research interest lies in the analysis of complex physiological signals and biomedical imaging, with a focus on neuroscience applications. In parallel, she is actively engaged in digital health and artificial intelligence, bringing together engineering methods and clinical practice to advance patient characterisation, translational research, and personalised treatment strategies, collaborating closely with the Clinical Trial Office and the Ethics Committee on the design and conduct of clinical studies in paediatric healthcare.
