Chrissi Pallidis

Senior Scientific Administrator,
European Medicines Agency

Dr Chrissi Pallidis obtained her medical degree in Greece in 1995. She completed her paediatric training at several hospitals in the United Kingdom, including University Hospital Wales and King’s College Hospital London, and subsequently worked as a general paediatrician in both the UK and Greece.
From 2005 to 2012, Dr Pallidis served as a Senior Medical Assessor at the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). In this role, she was responsible for the clinical assessment of marketing authorisation applications and the provision of scientific advice.
In 2012, she joined the European Medicines Agency (EMA), where she works in the Paediatric Office. Her responsibilities include the assessment of Paediatric Investigation Plans (PIPs), with a particular focus on medicines for paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology. She also serves as Scientific Lead to the Paediatric Committee (PDCO).
