Frédéric Lallemand is a PharmD and PhD-trained pharmaceutical development expert specializing in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls) across both chemical and biologic modalities, with deep expertise in ophthalmic, injectable dosage forms and pediatric dosage formulation. Based in Rambouillet, France, he has run his own consultancy, Lallemand Conseil, since 2016, while also co-founding Nepios Pharma, a company developing pediatric products since 2017. His industry career includes senior roles at Novagali Pharma (formulation and scale-up management for ophthalmic and injectable products), Santen Pharmaceuticals (Research and Innovation Manager, and Deputy Qualified Pharmacist), and Horama (non-clinical and CMC development director for an ocular gene therapy program preparing a Phase I/II trial). He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Geneva (Switzerland), and a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Technology from Châtenay-Malabry (France). Beyond formulation science, he brings strong regulatory writing experience (CTD Module 3, IND, IMPD), patent and IP strategy management, scientific due diligence, and teaching at the University of Paris. His track record includes over 20 formulation patents in ophthalmology, dermatology, and oral solutions, along with 19 scientific publications and posters, and he has also served as a scientific expert for the European Commission and BPI-France.
