Maria Sheean, PhD, is a scientific officer at the Paediatric Medicines Office at EMA. Her experience covers evidence generation support for paediatric and orphan medicines, non-clinical data evaluation, and scientific coordination within EU regulatory framework. She has an academic research background, which was focused on developmental biology and genetics.
