Lise Carle Empereur, PharmD, is an Associate Director and EU Regulatory Science Lead at UCB Pharma, based in Brussels (Belgium). She has extensive experience in global regulatory affairs, with a strong focus on centralized European procedures and orphan medicines. At UCB, she has contributed across the product lifecycle, from early regulatory strategy and scientific advice to marketing authorization applications and post opinion activities, supporting several successful CHMP outcomes. Lise is also actively engaged in talent development, having created and led the EU Regulatory Affairs Graduate Program at UCB, and regularly teaches regulatory affairs to pharmacy students at Paris Descartes University.
